• RETURNING SOS STAFF APPLICANT,

Thank you for your interest in returning to serve for another summer at SOS! The experience and perspective that returning summer staff members have are invaluable in helping us cast the vision of SOS to our new summer staff. That being said, if you are hired, you will be held to a high standard of leadership. Jesus reminds us that, “to whom much was given, of him much will be required” (Luke 12:48).

In addition to the rewarding experience of proclaiming the gospel in word and deed to homeowners in
Binghampton and 1,500 summer campers, each summer staff will be paid $165/week or $1,650 for the
full term (10 weeks). We understand that many of you have very busy summers and may not be able to work at SOS for the full term. We still want you to come work for us! To make this possible, if you are unable to work for the full term, you can work Term 1 (May 25th – June 30th) or Term 2 (July 1st – August 3rd). However, priority will be given to individuals applying for full term. (If you work only for Term 2, you must attend the staff-training week (May 25th– June 2nd).

We are looking for men and women with the following attributes:

    • A knowledge and experience of the saving grace of Jesus Christ
    • An understanding of and commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your personal life
    • An understanding of and commitment to the authority of Scripture in your personal life
    • A desire to share the saving message of Jesus Christ
    • A desire to love people in the name of Jesus Christ
    • A willingness to submit to authority and display humility in all matters of ministry and personal life

Thank you for your interest in returning to work at SOS If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. You can email Drew at drew@sosmemphis.org or call (901) 681-9044. We look forward to hearing from you. Application deadline: FEBRUARY 15th, 2012. We will notify all applicants on or before MARCH 18th, 2012.

    In Christ,

    Drew Haltom, Camp Director
