"I have a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, but have always immersed myself in Graphic Design, Illustration and Painting to express myself as someone who is a visual person ever since.
My early experience working for a local furniture brand in Manila Philippines as a Visual Merchandiser and Graphic designer has allowed me to style their showrooms and window displays as well as being in charge with curating and creating content for their social media platforms. This includes researching for latest design trends, creating mood boards and look for ways to market their furniture in creative ways with the use of digital/graphic design.
I was also able to work for an architecture firm as well and was part of a Junior Design Group that does small to big scale projects, ranging from Residential, Corporate and Community Development/Social Responsibility projects like community centers and food banks. As part of a Design Group, my tasks include Design Conceptualization (design concept research, mood board, swatch board making), 3D modelling using Sketchup and design drawings like building/construction plans thru AutoCAD.
All in all, I realized my experiences are not only labels for me as a creative individual in this industry, but it has made me who I am today. I alway seek out to learn something new and grow even more as a young designer in this ever evolving world. "
