"I have over 5 years of experience in the BPO industry but I want to highlight my expertise in regards with dental insurance. My career in the Dental industry started when I was hired by Sitel Philippines as a Customer Service Representative for a dental Insurance company, Metlife Dental. I was able to work 2 years for this account and I gained a lot of knowledge with handling claims and benefit information while being HIPAA compliant. Everyday we receive calls from dental offices and policy holders. We provide assistance so that they can have a better understanding with the Explanation of Benefits and we also provide a complete breakdown of benefits for their insurance.
I also have experience working as Dental insurance verification agent for OpenCare. Individually each agent will be assigned to different Dental Offices. We as agents will verify patients’ dental insurance information by filling out every single detail in the Insurance verification form that we have. We can get the insurance information through the insurance web portal, fast fax or by directly calling the insurance company.
I have extensive knowledge on dental insurance terminologies and ADA codes. I know how to read and interpret dental EOBs from dental insurances(Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, Metlife, Delta Dental, UHC, Guardian, etc).I also have a little experience working with Open Dental, Dentix and eaglesoft."
