"I've been in the BPO industry from 2015-2020, My first 2 years were with a bus company and my main role is to handle customer complaints, process refunds, and convince customers to book their tickets over the phone. It was quite challenging especially during winter because we're dealing with real-time issues like the bus broke down and there's a lot of stranded passengers and the majority of the calls that we received are from frustrated customers.
From 2017-2020 I was with a construction company and my role is to do outbound calls to construction companies, talk to the decision-maker to update their company contact info, and obtain important information that could help our Sales team with their pitch like what the contractors prefer to do, their service area and who they want to work for. Lastly, we asked them for the best time for our Sales team to call to have an appointment."
