Download the Car Club Database
This Car Club Register database has been written by Mark Fenton, Chrysler Restorers Club of Australia Victoria Inc to manage the recording and reporting of Car Club memberships, including vehicles owned. The first version has been in use since 2006, and has been continually developed to improve it's functionality since then. It was rewritten in July 2013 to make it more suitable for use by any club and and updated again in January 2016 with some bug fixes and new features. It was upgraded again in Feb 2016 following feedback from other clubs for additional functionality. It currently manages the details in our Club of 500+ members and almost 1000 cars.

It includes reports to help manage financial membership renewals each year, to generate mailing addresses for magazine distribution, and to manage vehicles with a Victorian Club Permit Scheme permit, however it should be suitable for any car club needing an easy to use membership and vehicle recording and management system. It includes the ability to manage the communication to members via email or normal post, including the mailing lists required to distribute printed magazines by normal post, and online magazines by electronic mailing list systems.

Instructions are included to enable any Club to install it as a single user database (on a PC but not Apple/Mac), or as a multi-user database shared via the internet, with users having full or readonly access, if required. Instructions and validation jobs are included to assist the importing of data from existing Excel spreadsheets, enabling clubs an easy transition from legacy systems.

The database is offered FREE for use by interested car clubs. It is built using Microsoft Access as the database system but, as long as no modification is required, it can be operated using the FREE runtime versions of MS Access that are available from Microsoft. There is therefore no cost involved, making it suitable for Clubs of any size and financial means.
