"I started in Convergys, now known as Concentrix as a Customer Service Representative for 2 years. We're trained as an overall representative handling bill concerns, programming needs, technical assistance, and promotional needs. This is where I started to gain confidence when it comes to speaking the English Language since we need to speak mainly with Americans living in the US. At first I had a hard time since it's my first time in this kind of industry, but eventually got comfortable because I'm passionate about what I'm doing. As much as I love what I'm doing, I realized that I wanted growth in a Company. I knew that I'm not getting any younger, and I would like to have a career, not just a job. Promotions in Convergys are very limited because of it's center population, that's why I decided to try my luck in IHG.
I've heard a lot of good things in IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group) from my friends who were also working there at that time, so I decided to apply. I've worked hard,understood the process, gave my best, and after 3 years of working as a Reservations Sales Specialist, I was awarded as the Top Sales Agent for 2017.
This achievement opened doors for me to become one of the Quality Analysts of the company.
I've realized that being a Quality Analyst really suits my personality since I'm good in Time Management and decision making, I'm also transparent, competitive, persistent, disciplined, and analytical.
I was able to apply all of my skills to help improve our Department. I was also awarded as one of the top QA's when it comes to Accuracy and Productivity.
As much as I want to continue on this role, Global Pandemic happened, and the Hotel Industry experienced the greatest impact. They decided to furlough most employees, including me.
If you can give me the chance and opportunity to start in your company, I will give you my 100% commitment to my role. I'm not going to promise anything for now since a Case Manager Role is new to me, but I will let my actions speak for myself. I will study and train hard, even with limited supervision."
