Application 2014

Week-long program Monday, July 14- Friday, July 18, 2014 in San Francisco (ends by noon Friday)

Each school is encouraged to send 2-3 teachers to the JET Institute.

The application includes two parts:
(A) “About Your School” (submitted once per school; need not be on same form as teacher application, but must be completed for teachers to apply.)
(B) “Teacher Application” (one for each teacher)

Be prepared to spend about 20 minutes completing this application, as your answers will not be saved. You may want to save your own copy by copying and pasting into a word document before you submit.

$250 fee for each JET Institute participant includes instruction, lunch, and snacks as well as year-long coaching support.

  • Follow up and evaluation are integral parts of the JET Institute.

    Participants are expected to share reflections with an independent consultant who will conduct a post-institute evaluation and a mid-year follow up. Participants are also expected to share highlights of their implementations of JET skills with the JET cohort and staff.
  • JET participants will receive individual coaching through the school year to assist in integrating technology in the classroom. All JET participants are invited to apply for the JET Award showcasing innovative integration of technology in Jewish education.
  • Teacher details must be submitted for each applicant.
