"First of all, I would like to thank you for considering my application and for giving me this opportunity to share my knowledge and experience. I have been working since I was 18 years old and I was able to accumulate over 4 years of working in the BPO industry. I have worked with several international accounts and I believe I have had enough experience that I can if I will be given a chance to work with your company.
Majority of my experience were for Customer Service Assistant/Representative for different campaigns such as tele-communication accounts, retention and insurance. My last job was at Primary Care Management Services wherein I was a Medical Billing and Collections Specialist. I was able to handle different types of claims and bills.
During my first months, I was trained for Workers Compensation claims where in our main tasks include Bill Status, Claim Status and Lien Resolution. My clients were group of providers such as specialists, physicians and facilities and a neurosurgeon. It was not long enough when my bosses decided to transfer me to private insurance accounts.
I handled two different clients- internal medicine and a more complicated account, neurosurgery. These accounts also follow the same process of claims and appeals status except the insurance companies were strict with regards to some documentations that they require to get the claims paid/processed correctly. Unfortunately, some accounts that we have does not have the complete documentations and due to numerous requests that I have forwarded to my team leaders, I had to find a way to make my job easier and was able to get a business director's information of a certain facility. With that, I was able to easily requests patient information such as medical records, authorizations and demographics. I consider myself a dedicated worker and I always like to challenge myself by exceeding the limit of what I am ask to do so I studied other claim related things such as modifiers and process. My bosses noticed my hard work, and they thought I was trustworthy enough to be given authorization to review and take over complicated accounts and I am confident to say that I did not fail them. I believe that time management - being able to finish all the tasks within the given time frame, stress management - because not all accounts and claims are the same as some need extra work, dedication to your work and eagerness to learn are just some of the keys to an outstanding work output and I really hope that I would be given a chance to share these experience and apply the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years to your company and I am more than willing to learn and experience new other things."
