"To start with, my first BPO experience is for a Technical/CSR account which is DISH. It's a U.S. -based cable company. In addition to technical issues, we are also in charge of billing, updating customer information, account cancellation and upgrade. I was only with them on probation.
As this was my first BPO experience, I learned a lot about multi-tasking, time management and stress management in a fast-paced environment.
My second account which is related to the job I'm applying for is for Bluestem, it's online shopping, alongside Target.
From there I learned to process orders, track, and shipping of orders. I enjoyed this account even though it's just seasonal because I can feel the Christmas spirit with clients ordering a lot of presents for their loved ones.
The third account which is also the last account I've handled before I resigned is Finastra, it's a financial account. We mostly handle the client's checking account. Most Canadians still pay for everything most especially the elderly they still use 'cheques'. Banks don't provide cheques for free. Clients are required to order on their own, either for personal or business reasons. We also offer other office-related products. After processing the orders, we reach out to our onshore CA team to ensure all orders are correct and shipped on time. Clients can process orders by telephone or e-mails. I've been in this account for nearly seven years.
I've also worked with Jetstar as a Flights Reservations Sales Specialist. We provide travel information over the telephone to customers of the airline. Typically, this information includes trip planning, car rentals, seat availability, fare information, schedules, tours, meals and other information relevant to the customer's flight plans. What I loved about this account is that I discovered my love of travelling. I've travelled around the Philippines and plan to visit the 81 provinces. I was halfway through my plans when I got pregnant with my twins and pandemic hits. Still I would love to travel again but this time with my family.
Currently, I work as a part-time freelancer in Ecommerce as an order manager. My clients are located in Arkansas and Pennsylvania. I both manage their Facebook Page/groups. I posted items to sell, organize the catalogue, manage the Shopify account and send invoices to their customers."
