Friends of ALSC Institute Scholarship

Scholarship recipients must be personal or student ALSC members who work directly with children in a library setting. The scholarships will include Institute registration; transportation to and from the Institute (up to $320); and two nights at the Sheridan Indianapolis City Centre where the Institute is being held. All applications are due by July 13, 2012.

I understand if I am selected to receive the Friends of ALSC Scholarship, I am required to work with the ALSC staff to arrange my travel, attend the Institute in its entirety, write an ALSC blog post about my experience, and be willing to serve on ALSC committees in the future. I have checked with my supervisor to ensure that if selected, I am able to attend the Institute.
