“I have been in the Customer Service industry for 12 years. I started working onsite in 2010. My first job experience was with a BPO company named NCO Group. I worked as a customer service agent for a Telco account called Verizon for 6 months. I am responsible for answering and solving issues about their billing, basic troubleshooting for their cables and phones, and scheduling technician visits. I consider this job my most challenging experience as it has been overwhelming as a newbie in the industry. Although challenging, this made me realize what I am capable of which landed me in my second job. The name of the company was Convergys now Concentrix and I've worked with them for almost 4 years. I've handled their customer service to a retail store named Macy's. In this journey, I have been named as one of their universal agents as I've handled several lines of business such as customer service in a phone, chat, email, and back office. My main duty was customer service with their online store, credit, and billing, order taking, order follow-ups, and after-sales issues. I've received several awards in every line of business I've been assigned to and was recognized as one of the highest customer service levels the company can provide which led to greater salary appraisal.
I have been an entrepreneur for a year after resigning from this job however, I realize I have to continue my career growth so I was hired to my third job at a company named Sovereign BPO Solutions as a Lead Generation associate. I have only worked with them onsite for 3 months as I was acquired by the client to work from home and report directly to him. This is my first home-based experience in which I handled the same position and project as a lead generation associate. I am responsible for cold calling leads from all over the hospitals in the US and data entry. I must call different departments in the Hospitals and gather information about their Directors, Vice Presidents, Managers, and Supervisors. If necessary I would have to speak to them and ask for their information directly. Since my previous job is a seasonal project, I applied and was hired to an in-house call center company named RPV Native Commerce. I started working for them onsite for almost 2 years. I handled an e-commerce store for survival products. I was initially assigned to be an inbound and outbound sales associate. Due to hard work, I have been recognized several times as the highest seller which led me to handle their Wholesale Distributor account. I was the manager of the WSD department and I was responsible for checking their stocks, still doing outbound and inbound sales, chat, and emails. Currently, I am a contractor to this company for 2 years now and reporting directly to the clients as an Admin assistant.
Since working at home now, I have managed to get another job as a chat customer service and sales associate. It was an e-commerce store that caters to wedding dresses and needs worldwide. I've worked with them for 2 years.
