    "My recent job as Material Planning & Inventory Control Analyst is where I spent 3years in a big manufacturing industry specifically roofing & construction materials here in the Philippines. I'm part of the Supply Chain department and work hand in hand with the Logistics team basically on shipping transactions of our raw materials that are coming from China and Manila.

    We used Oracle as our ERP system from generating our internal requisitions, delivery receipts , sales invoice , purchase orders and even finance related reports. My daily tasks include daily inventory reports from 4 different warehouses for both raw materials and finished products. I am the one who gives information on what materials should be used for delivery or shipment by following FIFO method. I also communicate well with our third party forwarders locally for our shipments status. And with that, I became well-versed in using excel and google spreadsheet and immune with too much information or data to analyze , reconcile and resolve issues in terms of inventory inaccuracies.

    I am a newbie here in the online industry that's why I motivated myself to do self training on basic fundamentals of Amazon from FBA labels, sending replenishments and shipments. Fortunately, someone is considerate enough to hire me as inventory manager for a 30 day trial in an e-commerce (Amazon, Walmart & E-bay) while also using 3PL and a Shipstation app. With that, I begin to explore more about how inventory management works and how shipments should be done. I become more aware of the underlying costs/ rates from FedEx/USPS. I've been enjoying my trial period because I learned so much with that limited experience because he can't hire someone full time yet.

    Over the course of my experiences, I guess it is safe to say that I'm flexible enough to make big changes in my career by upholding work ethics such as respecting deadlines, work with less supervision, detail oriented to have less mistakes , analytical decision making and having the right attitude at work."
