"Having been a part of the BPO industry for over 10 years now, I gained a variety of experience mainly being able to provide excellent and exceptional customer service while getting things done efficiently. I treat every person as a new customer who is deserving of my utmost attention making sure I exceed their expectations. I treat their precious time valuable.
I started as a directory assistant wherein we provide phone numbers and addresses to our customers. It might sound easy but the challenging part is we have to make sure to finish each call within at least 35 seconds. By doing this for almost 3 years, I have learned how to be efficient in everything I do without losing the quality of the call. I have worked with both American and Australian directory assistance companies, making me very familiar with their accents. Being able to understand different nationalities, for me is an edge, since it will be a lot easier to communicate with them. Working as a claims specialist for more than 4 years made me realize the importance of HIPAA in the US. I also knew the difference on each and every insurance policy. Having this experience made me learn how to negotiate with attorneys and how to be more assertive, that way I'd be able to settle with a good amount. After years of working as a claims specialist, I moved to becoming a level 2 customer service representative. Here, I need to assist not only customers, but also the agents needing assistance from us. Because of years of experience, I gained a lot more knowledge, not only with the business but also with the type of responses of my customers. Because of this I knew what type of approach I would give on a certain scenario. I also tried to challenge myself by becoming a sales representative. I have never been on a sales account prior to this, but it made me realize that I could adapt on different types of job, since I was able to excel on being a sales representative too and not to mention being part of the sales coach team. Because of my promotion, I have been able to learn a lot more on how to manage time, how to share my skills and how to lead a team. Wherein most of the team members are new hires, which is kind of difficult since I need to really provide almost all of my knowledge to them and also to make sure that they understood everything I teach. It is indeed a challenge for me, yet the most rewarding, especially seeing your new hires getting rewarded for a job well done.
I can never be more thrilled to make use of these qualities and knowledge in your company. Rest assured that my 10 years of experience will be more of an advantage.
