Theme: “Preparing Todays’ Youth for STEM Jobs and Careers"

The goal of the STEM Education and Career Expo is to inform, engage, and excite middle and high school students around the state (Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County , Prince Georges County and Montgomery County), to the wonderful global opportunities in the STEM careers! Undergraduate students, graduate students, educators, parents, friends and the Morgan Community Mile members are all invited to participate in the exhibits that include: cyber security, drones, coding, app making, virtual reality goggles, chemistry experiments, light analysis and much more! The expo will include exhibitors linked to STEM from educational backgrounds, local, state, and federal government agencies, business and industry, the Fort Meade Alliance, the Morgan PEARL and area colleges and universities.

Sessions at the expo include:

• Interactive displays
• Engaging hands-on activities
• Drone demonstrations
• Speaking with STEM professionals about internships and careers
• Exhibits by MSU STEM faculty and student research
• College Recruitment and Preparation
• Launching of Weather Balloons

Call for Exhibitors for the 2018 STEM Education and Career Expo

Information Form for STEM Exhibitors.

The 2018 STEM Expo Committee is requesting that your organization exhibit/present in this year’s STEM Expo, scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. It will be located on the campus of Morgan State University Calvin and Tina Tyler Ballroom in the Student Center; 1700 E. Cold Spring Lane. If you are interested in exhibiting, please send us a title and brief synopsis on the topic of your presentation and indicate if you need an electrical outlet. The audience will consist of middle and high school students, parents, teachers, and undergraduate STEM students. In addition, we are asking that the exhibit/presentation be hands-on, to engage the audience. Every exhibitor will receive two 6 feet tables.

Please complete and return to CEMSE no later than Monday, October 8, 2018
