The Library staff is not able to provide individual technical support with personal computer hardware, software, smart phones or Apple computers. Contact a librarian for information about published resources related to these topics and others not listed below.
Ask us about Universal Class, online classes covering a wide range of computer and technology topics from computer basics and internet use to web design, instruction on the use of Adobe products, and PC troubleshooting and repair. Universal Class includes courses on Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 and 2013.
Tech tutoring is available on the following topics:
Basic computer skills (mouse use, navigation, file organization, using a flash drive, burning DVDs)
Email assistance (gmail, Yahoo mail, hotmail, basic web email access)
Internet navigation (browser use & settings for Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox)
Basic photo editing using Picasa
Microsoft Office use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
Basic social media use (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter)
Tablet settings & basic use (iPad, Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy, Google Nexus)

Appointments are 15-30 min and are scheduled based upon staff availability within the times listed below.
