"I started as a tier 1 customer service representative handling a local telecom account then I got promoted to tier 2 which was when I handled supervisory calls and other challenging situations. I was with the customer service industry for 2 years. My next job was with a UK based company as a lead researcher. I was tasked to look for newly opened businesses in the UK after which I got promoted to Information Security Associate and was tasked to ensure security and confidentiality on with the documents our company was handling. I also monitored agents to ensure compliance on security. Eventually, I got promoted to a managerial position handling the information security department. It was a challenge in my part because I was studying and at the same time working. I supported myself financially while I was finishing my college degree which I believe is one of my greatest accomplishments.
After I graduated I worked as a recruitment specialist in one of the biggest BPOs in the country. I was in charged with interviews and processing new hire applications ensuring quality standards are met with the people we were hiring for the company. Although with a sad note, I had to leave the company due to issues with compensation. Currently I am an ESL teacher, teaching Chinese students from home. I am with this company for 4 years already as a senior teacher and have been certified with TESOL and TEYL.
