The therapy of psoriasis has made significant progress in recent years. Today, in most cases, a low-impact therapy is possible, which shows good results. In many psoriatics, the scales under the hair are hardly visible. They are still annoying, because they always fall on their shoulders. Dark shirts or blouses are then taboo. However, the scalp psoriasis is not only a great aesthetic problem. "If the hairy head is covered with thick scales, hair loss can occur because the dandruff hinders hair growth," says Dr. Peter Schmid from the Haut + Licht Doctors and Therapy Center seborrheic dermatitis cure (the former Mavena Derma Center) in Zurich.
