Thank you for your interest in volunteering! At this event we will be working with hOur IMPACT to clean up Salmon Creek Park and celebrate hOur IMPACT's one year anniversary. From 9:00 to 11:00 am, we will be working together to remove litter, pull ivy and blackberry and clean the shelter, play equipment, benches, and signs at the park and along the Greenway trail. From 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, we will gather at the shelter to celebrate hOur IMPACT’s one-year anniversary.

This volunteer event is open to the public, including hOur IMPACT members. hOur IMPACT is a timebanking system that allows members to exchange services (i.e. cleaning up a park in exchange for a ride to and from the airport). This is a great opportunity for members of hOur IMPACT to get to know each other and explore possibilities for future exchanges, while having fun and cleaning up a county park all at the same time. This is a great way to earn 2 hours of time credit awarded by the Clark County Parks Department.

You should wear weather-appropriate clothing (and clothes you don't mind getting dirty!), long pants, and closed-toe shoes, and bring water to drink. If you have tools or supplies (gloves, loppers, pruners, hedgers) please bring them. Cake will be provided courtesy of hOur IMPACT.

If you (or anyone in your group) are under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be signed. Please copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the form: http://www.parkhero.org/Documents/CCPMinorConsent_000.pdf. Print, fill out, and bring with you to the event.

If you have any questions please contact the Volunteer Program Coordinator, Karen Llewellyn, at 360.397.6118 ext. 1627 or karen.llewellyn@clark.wa.gov.
