" I have a fair share of work experiences as a Customer support representative and a VA. I started as an Accounts Receivable representative for a Pharma Company called Medco. What I basically do is call patients and process their payment to release their prescriptions. I do also answer some basic inquiries about the status of their prescriptions. I see this job as a stepping stone towards my CSR career with challenges like the usual Irate patients and status of the packages, also implemented in the line of this industry is the confidentiality of each patient's condition and prescription.
After my job as an Accounts receivable representative, I found a chance to improve my job experience in the form of applying for email and chat support for an online gaming site based in the UK. We do medium to heavy multitasking of answering 1-5 chat sessions all at the same time and we also answer email inquiries such as cashing out their winnings and verifying I.D. that is very crucial on the process of cashing out. This job challenged my confidence in making decisions, me as a critical thinker because we check ID from players and it needed to be verified as authentic or fake, and with money involved room for error should be slim to none.
Lastly, in my experience as a VA for a lead generation company Web leads, I do outbound cold calling to set up phone call appointments. This too is very challenging because not everybody is willing to talk and telemarketers are often get hung upon. I have learned how to compose myself even better when it comes to challenging calls/conversations. I started at this in 2016 up to now I am still working with the company but I fear the campaign might end soon. That is why I would like to take this opportunity to apply and hopefully manage to get the job, I am really looking forward to your response."
