COMPLETE RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT BY VOLUNTEERS

By signing this Release, I am giving up all legal rights I may have to make any claim for any relief or damages against Southern Skies Labrador Rescue & Adoption Inc., an Alabama nonprofit corporation, or it’s directors, officers, employees, volunteers or other agents (“SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC.”). In consideration for this Release SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. is providing a volunteer opportunity, which has value to me.

I consent to volunteer for SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. I understand the risks of volunteering with SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC., including but not limited to, illness, disease (my own or that of a pet), and injuries arising from animal handling or other causes. I agree to assume all liability from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to claims based upon negligence that may arise out of, in connection with, or during the time of my volunteering to provide services to SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC., and to release SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. from all such liability. I agree to hold harmless and to indemnify SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. for any liability whatsoever (including attorneys fees), as described above.

Photo Release: I grant SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. the irrevocable and exclusive right to use my name, likeness, voice and/or reputation in all forms of media known or hereafter developed (including but not limited to electronic media) and in all manners in connection with promotional/educational materials about SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. and any related uses. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished version(s). I release and hold harmless SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. and it’s agents from any liability resulting from such use of my name, likeness, voice and/or reputation. I waive any claims I may have based on such use, including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, violation of right of publicity and libel.

General Provisions: This Release shall be given a libel construction, with all ambiguities resolved in favor of SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC. If any provision of this Release is deemed to be partially void, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law and all remaining provisions of this Release shall continue in full force and effect. To the extent that any provision of this Release is deemed to be completely void, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remainder of this Release and all remaining provisions of this Release shall continue in full force and effect. This Release will be binding upon heirs, my estate, insurers, assigns and me. I intend this Release to cover all future volunteer services for SOUTHERN SKIES LABRADOR RESCUE & ADOPTION INC.
