Thank you for your interest in volunteering! In honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, join Clark County Parks as we maintain mitigation plantings. We will be removing plant protectors from around mature plants and shrubs and removing blackberries. We will also work on trail maintenance and drainage improvements.

The meeting location is at the large parking lot on NW 21st Ave, off of NW 179th Street (see link to map above). Parking is limited and we encourage people to carpool if possible.

You should wear weather-appropriate clothing (and clothes you don't mind getting dirty!), long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Light refreshments will be provided.

If you (or anyone in your group) are under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be signed. Please visit https://www.clark.wa.gov/public-works/volunteer-forms and select the Minor Consent Form. Print, fill out, and bring with you to the event.

If you have any questions please contact the Volunteer Program Coordinator, Karen Llewellyn, at 360.397.6118 ext. 1627 or karen.llewellyn@clark.wa.gov.
