“I am Mitzi N. Banzon, 23 years old but at this young age, I'm proud to say that I already have enough experience working in the industry. I started working in the BPO industry when I was 18 years old. During my work experience at Sequential Technology International, I was fortunate enough to have experienced firsthand and learned many things about customer service and sales. I was dedicated to my job even when I was an agent back then, that's why I got a lot of positive feedback and gave good numbers for my team. Our company has only catered to one client since then, and it is known as one of the largest telco companies in the United States. Our scope of support is considered broad as we assist our customers with their general inquiries, billing concerns, technical difficulties, and we even process their orders and activate their devices and accounts. I wouldn't say it was easy, but it's also not hard as we always get the support we need from the SMEs.

I was consistent in passing all the metrics, especially attendance, for almost two years. Working with a great leader and teammates really did help me to keep myself motivated and love my job more. The production floor was one of the places I missed so much because this is where I learned and laughed the most. I was carefree with my former teammates and they treated me as a family.

After two years, my team leader encouraged me to apply for a training specialist post when our HR department made an announcement that they're internally hiring a trainer. At first, I was hesitant and scared at the same time. I'm not sure if I can do it and if I'm suitable for the job. I'm scared to be in a new environment with new people and new roles. Fortunately, I was surrounded with supportive colleagues and family. They pushed me and made me believe in myself and what my capabilities are. I got promoted as a training specialist last 2018 and since then, I've handled countless classes until 2021. I had fun sharing my knowledge and skills with the new hires. I also handled refreshers and training for existing agents. I've been doing admin tasks, attending several meetings, taught US culture, proper pronunciations and articulations, basic grammar, tools navigation, the call flow and many more. I was too busy as a trainer but I loved what I've been doing for the past years, then a pandemic happened and I gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

I have to sacrifice my job but I'm still thankful that I was given the opportunity to work at home as a virtual assistant. I can still be a hands-on mom while earning an income at the comfort of our home. As a VA, I was given multiple tasks. I previously worked for a gaming monitor company which is based in Singapore, and now an assistant for a small investor from the United States. Yes, I do miss working in a corporate office, but I also love what I'm doing now, especially that I can spend more time with my family and save more for my son's future. Based on my experience and positive attitude, I can say that I'm a good fit for the role and be part of your company's success"
