Life Cycle Evaluation

1. The fuel that drives Linwood is a dominant vision from the FOUNDING pastor that is shared by most at Linwood. *
2. People regularly show up for times of corporate prayer for Linwood. *
3. The congregation is in its prime, successful with a clear vision and positive future. *
4. There is not a specific vision driving Linwood. *
5. The quality of ministry has dropped and programs are in decline. *
6. People have begun to drop out of ministry positions. *
7. The congregation is now at a level where it is using savings or other outside support to keep paying the bills. *
8. Linwood is filled with enthusiasm and is passionately living out the core values and mission established by the FOUNDING pastor. *
9. Linwood has a well developed outreach plan and is practicing intentional assimilation strategies. *
10. Linwood feels it is in the prime of its existence and has the resources to accomplish much. *
11. The congregation is passive and there is a sense of apathy among the lay people. *
12. We are in a time of nostalgia and the best days are those behind us. *
13. Ministry positions in the church often are not filled. *
14. We receive outside support or use our savings to maintain the ministry. *
15. The church has established healthy patterns of worship, outreach and discipleship. *
16. There is intentional fellowship, care ministry AND leadership development being practice throughout Linwood. *

20. Worship life is full of precious memories, homecomings and anniversaries. *

26. Congregation is afraid to take risks that might diminish the few resources it has left. *

29. When we look to the future it is bright and filled with hope. *
30. There is a sense that what we are doing is working. *
31. There is a strong desire for something new. *
32. We seem to have a lot of funerals and a number of people are home-bound or in nursing homes. *

38. Linwood is best described as a preaching station or chaplaincy ministry. *
39. There are many new Christians, but no formal discipleship plan in place. *

41. The fastest growing demographic group in the church is senior adults. *
42. The overall congregation is beginning to age. *
43. The number of children and youth under 18 is in plateau or in decline. *
44. The way things used to be is the prevalent talk. *

46. Programs and ministries are working at their best quality ever. *
47. Dysfunction has started to creep in. *
48. Linwood is well know by those in the community. *
49. Selected groups/portion of congregation's morale is declining. *
50. Formal management systems of the church are working well. *
