" After getting my college degree in 2017, I started working as a telemarketer for an SEO service company. What I liked about this job was that I was able to develop my own techniques in communicating that not only helped me be more comprehensible but also enabled me to get favorable responses from clients. I also quickly learned about the different temperaments of people and how to adjust to each type, as we can’t always expect people to have the same calm demeanor every day. I believe that this skill takes practice and a lot of patience to learn and I am grateful for this experience.
The next notable job position I held was the Marketing Associate role at a local sourcing company in the Philippines. That role required me to learn the supply chain and production processes so that I can monitor my projects effectively. My role begins with product development for clients with specific requests for their orders and ends with the items being delivered to their warehouses. What I liked most about this job was that it enabled me to communicate with high-position people such as Marketing Heads of the biggest companies in the Philippines or Buyers of large shopping malls. It also gave me a sense of responsibility in that I am in charge of my own project from start to finish-- and boy does it give me a rush when a project goes by smoothly.
In early 2020, I was already working part-time as a Proofreader for an SEO Services company. When the pandemic in 2020 happened, I opted to work from home and started my career with a US-based manufacturing company as a Buyer. My tasks include inventory planning based on Sales Orders and forecasts, placing orders with the vendors and monitoring the production, and arranging the consolidation of shipments based on inventory needs. This company also sold on Amazon and I was able to involve myself with the FBA Amazon shipping plan. I like working from home because I am able to use my personal time at the maximum because I don't have to use some of my time traveling to and from work. I also like to work in the comforts of my own home, as I believe it lessens the stress from work. "
