"I had been a virtual assistant for real estate agents for 2 years. I took the opportunity as well when I found out that I can work from home (considering I just gave birth when I started). Prior to being a virtual assistant I was a part of the BPO industry for a good 4 years. I was placed from customer service to billing inquiries and sales and even jumped into technical support all of which I was happy because I learned and gained new knowledge that was really new and out of my comfort zone.
My first client when I got into the virtual assistant job, I was tasked to call realtors from different companies and set up a meeting with my client for a potential recruitment. Along side making calls, I also entered all the information of the prospect leads to his CRM (TopProducer) and when they held seminars or conference, I send out invitation emails and also call them to invite them to the event. I was with that client for a year since they had to cut some financial loses. After that I worked for a realtor based in Florida, here I was tasked to do cold calling to FSBO and expired leads that came from her CRM (Vulcan 7 and CoreRealty), I must admit the lead source wasnt that strong since most of the numbers I got were wrong numbers but I did manage to keep my goal and set her up with at least 2-3 potential clients in a day(that is for meeting first). I was only working for her for 4 hours. I got another client for 4 hours, she was also a realtor in FL, this time aside from calling buyer and seller leads, I got the chance to work on making contracts, posting listings, accessing MLS and all the good admin stuff. That part I really liked since I was keen of making and double checking letters and other documents.
Then after that I got another client, he is based in MA, he is a hard-core buyer’s agent. Same task, I was making calls to leads that came from either Zillow, Trulia or Realtor.com and putting their info in his CRM (FollowUP Boss). I was also tasked to make sure all his showings are in order and in sync with his schedule and that the listings agents were aware of the showings that will happen. My last client was a lender and pretty much the tasks are the same except with a lender we have to keep on following up with the lead until they send their documents so they can be pre-approved by the lender.”
