PNH RESCUE
PNH Rescue Application

Please only complete this application if you are available and committed to adopt immediately. We are unable to hold dogs whilst people fulfil their commitments.

Once we receive your application we will review it. This can sometimes takes a number of days if there are many people applying for the same dog. We will contact successful applicants only due to time constraints. If you have not heard from us within 7 days please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please do apply again for another dog in the future.
If successful, we will organise a homecheck for you or if local, invite you to meet your chosen dog prior to homecheck.
After successful homecheck we ask you to organise to meet or collect your reserved dog within 48 hours to free up a space for the next dog waiting to come in.
If already homechecked we would ask you to be prepared to adopt at the meeting should all go well e.g. bring a collar and lead.
We ask people to be prompt when attending their booked appointment as we are extremely busy.

Please note that as we want to secure the best homes possible for our dogs there may be other homes being homechecked at the same time as you so the homecheck is not a guarantee you will be invited to meet and adopt your chosen dog.

If at any stage in the adoption process, we or one of our volunteers/fosterers, home checkers etc. feel that the situation is not right for our dog or puppy, you may be turned down.

Please note if you do not meet our rehoming criteria then we are unable to consider or acknowledge your application.

All our dogs are microchipped, so if they ever get lost they can be re-united with you very quickly.

We vaccinate and worm/deflea all our dogs when they come into the rescue if they are not already up to date. Some will need a second injection given later, so you may have to take your new dog to get this done after you have adopted it.
