DABL Night Market 2017
Artist Submission Form

APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 1, 2017

APPLICATION FEE: $25

Dane Arts, the County's Cultural Affairs Office, invites you to apply to DABL Night Market 2017! Dane Arts Buy Local (DABL) is a program within Dane Arts that connects local artists and businesses through a series of pop-up art markets. By combining unique vending opportunities with professional development workshops, DABL directly supports the work of Dane County artists in recognition of their impact on the local economy.

Nearly $100,000 has been generated by artists to-date.

This market will pop-up Thursday, October 12th from 4:00PM-9:00PM. The event will take place in the US Bank building located at 1 S. Pinkney St. on the Capitol Square - one night only.

Booth size is 8 x 6' and the artists will have to provide all displays, tables, and chairs for their space. Electricity is limited at this venue so extra lighting may not be possible.

There is a $25 non-refundable application fee to apply for this event. Checks should be made out to DANE ARTS and submitted to:

Dane Arts c/o Mark Fraire
Director of Cultural Affairs, City-County Building, Room 421
210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Madison, WI 53703

If you are accepted into the show, vendors will also be required to pay Dane Arts 30% of their total sales from the evening. All funds received for this event will be recirculated back into future DABL events and activities.

All DABL applicants will have their art submitted to the pool of candidates for the 2018 Dane Arts Poster and Calendar competition, and be able to attend the Flourish! workshops free-of-charge, regardless of being accepted to exhibit October 12, 2017.

The night will be full of art, music, performance, gourmet appetizers, a business panel discussion, and serious shoppers from throughout Dane County.

Artists must reside in Dane County to submit.

There is a 10MB total file size limit for images submitted with this application.
