I’m an Interior Design graduate from Assumption College. I’ve been in the design industry for more than 20 years. My first job was a Space planner for an Office Furniture company. We provided furniture lay-outs using the AutoCad software. We also attended client meetings and did site verifications in and out of the city. I really enjoyed my work as a space planner because I got to design the workplaces of famous companies and government offices.

Another job I enjoyed was my job as Head Trainor of the InteriCad software. Intericad is a 3d rendering software wherein you can see your design in virtual reality. It’s almost similar to 3dmax. I was sent to China for training and was assigned to train architects and Interior Designers the command and functions of the InteriCad software. I was able to create my own portfolio and do some sidelines.

One job that was slightly different was my job as a Product Management Head for an international hardware company. Our department also worked hand in hand with the IT department in organizing the company’s catalog. The catalog contains the image and product specifications of each hardware.

Finally, I decided to give remote working a try and applied as an Online English Trainer for Japanese professionals. I have been an Online English trainer for two years now. I also attended an intensive Virtual Assistant’s Bootcamp where I was given a glimpse of the world of remote working. I’m quite familiar with most of the applications such as Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop, MS Word, Excel, etc. The new things I learned were about Email Management, Research and Social Media Marketing.
