This 6 week puppy class covers House Training, Crate Training, Bite Inhibition, Responsible Ownership, Leash Introduction and simple commands like Sit!, Down!, and No Jump!.

For puppies that missed Small Paw Etiquette and for owner who have no verbal control of the dog and/or the dog has little to no social skills. This 8 week class covers cues like; Sit!, Down!, Come!, Walk Nicely! and Stay!.

This 8 week class is for dogs older than 6 months and includes cues such as; Sit!, Down!, Come!, Stay!, Walk Nicely!, Stand! and Leave It!

This comprehensive 8 week class culminates with a 10-step test that includes
Accepting a stranger
Sitting for petting
Accepting gentle grooming
Basic obedience (Sit!, Down!, Stay!, and Come!)
Polite leash walking (walking through crowds or past another dog)
Confidence around distractions
And much more to prepare you for the AKC "CGC" Test.

This 6 week class focuses on developing a reliable emergency recall progressing from instant name recognition to a snap-back recall response.

This 6 week course works on advanced handling, off-leash behaviors like “ out-of-sight stay”, distance recall, off-l leash heeling, and introduces distance and duration to behaviors. This class is designed to enhance owner’s mechanics and gives them a more scientific knowledge of training.

This 6 week class focuses on taking walking nicely into a more controlled heel behavior. This class is ideal for owners wanting to eventually advance to ring obedience or to take longer strolls with their dogs.

This 6 week class is perfect for dogs that struggle specifically with their behavior around other dogs.

This clicker-based class is for owners who want to develop new tricks and behaviors with their dogs. A 6 week course to teach you how to teach your dog more complex behaviors that cannot be lured. Lots of fun for the more advanced dog handler.

A 30minute mid-day (between 10:15 AM & 2:30 PM / 4:00 PM & 8:00 PM) visit to entertain or let a pet into the yard. This is available for dogs and cats.

A 30minute visit to entertain, exercise or feed pets while the owner is away. We can also empty and clean litter trays. This is available to all domestic pets. 1 to 5 visits per day. 1 Visit is only recommended if connected to an overnight pet sitting agreement or with an animal that has access to a safe outside area. Additional cost per dog over 2 dogs.

The DogSmith will pick up, deliver and return pet or pets to vet or groomer during any service visit or as a standalone service. If delivery destination is beyond 5 miles or takes longer than 30 minutes, additional fees apply:
over 30 minutes then extra 15 minutes is $15.00
Mileage over 5 miles = .50 cent per mile

The pet sitter stays at the home of the pet. The service time is agreed with the client but normally starts at 7pm and concludes at 7am.

The pet stays at the home of a DogSmith pet sitter's home and enjoys the comfort and environment of a private home and family. Rate covers a 24 hour period.
