"Working as an Interior Designer for 3 years after I graduated last April 2017 widened my eyes more in the Design field. I got my first job after a month in a Furniture Store here in the Philippines as an In-house Designer and handled 2 branches in my City. At first, I couldn't believe that a company really approached me to become part of them knowing that I am a fresh graduate and no experience at all.

With a contemporary minimalist, modern tropical/zen, bold and casual eclectic, transitional, scandinavian, shabby chic, industrial and rustic design concept and more, I design 28 showcases and 3 visual spots every 3 months. From space planning, choosing the perfect mix and match of furniture and wall finishes to suit the concept as a stepping stone really molded me to be the designer that I am today. December 2017, the company promoted me to be a Visual Merchandiser and an In-house Designer for all branches in Mindanao, 8 branches in 5 cities to be exact! At first, the position challenged me how I can manage my limited time in a branch to change the showcases/visual spots and how I will plot the different categories and description of the furniture from a single ottoman down to the luxurious king bed. Days of time management and familiarization, I managed my job well and got several awards from the company.

It was a hard decision for me to leave my job because I loved it so much - the people, the perks of travelling and exploring the cities during my free time and the experiences and the challenges itself but I want to explore more for the growth of my career."
