I understand that I will be the temporary guardian of a foster dog and that this dog will remain the sole property of Central Ohio Dog Rescue. I understand that if for ANY reason what so ever, I feel I must remove the foster dog from my home, then that foster dog will be returned to Central Ohio Dog Rescue League or its designated representative, unless Central Ohio Dog Rescue League agrees in writing to an alternative solution.
The foster home system is not a prelude to adoption of your foster dog. However, the foster home has the right to adopt the rescue with the approval of Central Ohio Dog Rescue League after a foster period of no less than 3 weeks. You cannot, however, adopt your first foster dog. IF you feel you want to adopt your foster dog we must know asap, as other people are wanting to adopt it too.
If there are any medical decisions with FOSTER ANIMAL or cost to be spent THEY MUST BE APPROVED (if they are not, you will be responsible for the bill) and CODRL will have final say but will take into serious consideration the adopter/fosters desires. IF our foster dogs are not returned, you will pay all court cost and/or attorney fees to return them to the group.
ALL foster dogs belong to Central Ohio Dog Rescue League, and will be returned at request including any adoption fees collected when asked. If a foster/volunteer does not return the dog/adoption fees to CODRL, the volunteer will be responsible for all legal expenses incurred by CODRL to enforce this agreement.
