"I started out as an E-commerce product listing manager for a hobby shop in PA. I launched the store’s online platform together with the owner way back in 2017. As I list products daily, we continue to grow. Took us only 2 months to prepare and list all items we will be selling. As I got used to it, I was able to multitask and started to work as a customer support via phone, email and chat aside from listing products on our site.
After a few months, I became an Online Operations Manager wherein I get to take over whatever is going on in our site. I am in charge of order fulfillment, purchase orders, drop shipping, vendor management and inventory. Communicating with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers has been my daily routine. I always make sure that lead times are met, if an item went on a sudden backorder, I always make sure to let our customers know about it and provide options.
I also check other stores to see if our prices are competitive, but not to the point that I will risk having lower than 5% profit just to be the lowest price. What I loved about the job is that I am able to show what I’m good at while helping my clients and our customers. I get to learn everyday. New day, new knowledge. I always put my heart and commitment on what I do with quality and integrity being first. "
