Celebrating triumph, overcoming circumstances, choosing not to be a prisoner or product of my environment, proving to myself and other women that all things are possible!

This past february i put together a VERY successful business directory with approx. 30 businesses. Out of those 30 business. At least 25 established B2B or B2C relationships. (testimonials available upon request)

Essence Music Festival is an annual music festival celebrating contemporary African-American music and culture. It is the largest event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States. Essence Music Festival is sponsored by Essence, a magazine aimed primarily towards African-American women. More than 422,000 people took part in last year's Essence Music Festival held over the Fourth of July weekend in New Orleans

Target Market: Women

This era of women holds no prisoners! Women are increasingly gaining power politically and socially. Women are searching for and creating more opportunities for themselves and their families. women make 85% of all consumer purchases in the United States (trendsight). Women constantly seek ways to improve health, finances, beauty and wellness all around. Last but never least when you empower and uplift a woman you uplift an entire nation.

How Sponsorship Goodie Bags are going to be distributed:


A short 30-45 second interview will be conducted asking the following questions:

1. Can you offer 30-45 seconds of your time for a quick interview? (if yes proceed to 2)

2. Can you share with me one way that you have made a breakthrough this year?

3. Are you interested in supporting businesses and entrepreneurs that work towards uplifting women like yourself and their surrounding communities?

Bags will be handed out specifically to women who express interest and show enthusiasm during this brief interview with Quality of Quantity in mind. Randomly handing out alot of bags to people who express no true interest vs targeting a couple hundred who are very interested in patronizing businesses.

Of course interview will have a more organic feel in real life just offering you a scenario.
