Wild Wonderful Walking Group Registration

This form allows you to register to coordinate a Wild Wonderful Walking Group in your community or network. Upon completion of this form, you will be directed to a webpage where you can download the Wild Wonderful Walking Group Toolkit.

COMMUNITIES, ORGANIZATIONS OR SENIORS
SIGN UP NOW TO LEAD A WILD WONDERFUL WALKING GROUP!
The 6-week walking group challenge can occur at any time of year and members can walk independently, in pairs or as a group. Participants track either steps or minutes. Each group decides its own "rules" and what's best for members. Consider organizing a Wild Wonderful Walking Group in your community, with your organization or through your network (i.e. statewide worksite, churches, organizations, etc).

Program Overview

Wild Wonderful Walking Group Kit has everything a walking group leader needs:

• Step-by-step Leader Guide & Leader Training Sheet
• Sample materials Kickoff Poster, Member Guide, Health Form, and Member Handouts
• Print ready documents

Walking Group Leader Responsibilities:

• Signing up for the kit
• Organizing a group meeting schedule
• Use the Leader’s Step-by-Step
• Collect surveys
• Coordinate survey data entry online or in spreadsheet, if needed
• Respond to Leader Survey

Pedometers are not included in the toolkit.

Printed copies are only available for organizations in WV. However, digital copies may be available to others outside of WV by completing this form.
