"I’m Kareem Lean C. Tero, 31 years old. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you for my customer service representative application to your company which I feel that I am fit for this position based on my previous work experiences.
I started working in 2008 at Teletech for a U.S. based account which is Hewlet Packard also known as HP. I was hired as a technical support representative to handle customer calls regarding their desktop computer issues. I enjoyed troubleshooting computers over the phone and I was challenged in the competition on hitting the set goals in the account. I received a lot of commendations from the customers over the phone and also from the management which was then converted to incentives. Unfortunately, the account closed and I had to put up my own computer repair shop while looking for another job.
Then, after a few months, I received a call from Teletech to offer me a job as a technical support representative level 2 for Verizon online. I grabbed the offer and worked there with a mindset that I will be working with the account for many years. Sadly, the same situation happened like with my first job. The account closed, but luckily I was transferred to another account which is Telstra Billing, an Australian account providing internet service. At first it was hard for me to adjust myself with the changes, from a technical account to a billing account, but as the time goes, I learned how to handle it properly, thanks to the support of my teammates and supervisor. I enjoyed a lot in this account because of the friends I made and the challenges we went through.
After a year I have to leave the company to put up a family business which I managed with my mother. The business was good and still operational. But in 2015 I decided to work abroad as an Administrator for an Engineering company in Qatar to gain more financially in preparation for my wedding. After 2 years I was offered for another job in Qatar as an Engineering supervisor for a Government company. There I learned technical works other than the computers and internet and I enjoyed the company of different people working away from their families. Finally, I finished the contract for another 2 years and went back to the Philippines last 2019 and got married last January 2020."
