“I have been working remotely for nearly 10 years now as a web content writer and researcher. I also have a seasonal job as an email and chat support for a US based retail brand. As a writer, we provide web content for US based businesses that mostly cater to services such as garage door repair, appliance repair, locksmith services, door installations and a lot more. I have written content for such a broad range of niches including digital marketing, technology, confinement services in Singapore, travel and even product reviews.
As an email and chat support, I have already successfully completed 2 seasons with Balsam Brands, a company that sells Christmas ornaments, hence it is a seasonal contract which starts from October to December of each year.
I decided to go in this direction and explore becoming a virtual assistant because I
know that I am also capable of doing other things apart from writing and providing
customer support. I have been spending the last couple of months learning to be an
effective VA, by watching YouTube tutorials and learning from the best in the
industry. I know that being a virtual assistant can help me grow both personally and
professionally, and in the process, I can challenge myself more, push myself to the
limits and contribute to the success of my client’s business.”
