I'm a Registered Dental Assistant with vast knowledge of clinical procedures and medical and dental terminology. Seeking an online position where there is a need for a variety of office management skills including dental software proficiency, organizational abilities, business intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting respect and empathy towards clients, while upholding policy and maintaining professionalism. Strong Typing Skills, high volume phone correspondence capabilities. Over 10 years of experience working in an office environment both in the front and back office.
Before even graduating from dental assisting school I was already working at a dental office as front desk, I answerd phones set appointments , did recalls and verified dental insurance and sometimes sterilized instruments then I decided to go to dental assisting school at Heald College. When I became a registered dental assistant I started assisting at a general pratice clinic for sometime then I tried working at Pedodonist office and I enjoyed it alot so I worked it for quite some time. I assisted the dentist in the mornings and did dental prophys for the kids in the afternoons. We had many patients during the summer but slowed down a bit in when the kids went back to school so our manager trained me on how to be a patient coordinator which entails making proposals for patients regarding their dental treatments and giving them different payment options. I was also though how to process dental claims. The program we used was Dentrix. I also have experince as a dental coordinator as i did this for 1 year at Heald college. I managed the dental program so anything dental at the school I took care of from student issues, dental instructors and finding dental offices where the students can do there internship, certifications and trainings.
