" I have often found myself in a customer service position, though with various companies with a myriad of business types. They tend to have similar challenges, although it was the exposure to learning new ideas and practices within the different business types that I enjoyed. Financial accounts, for things like stocks and credit cards, have apprised me of knowledge regarding potential financial tools and the nuances of investment that the layman may not readily have access to that can be used for future enrichment. More so, providing customer service for businesses like hospitality and ISP connectivity has also provided me good insight into such businesses that I am often able to use to better understand and work with the products to which I subscribe or purchase.

Although not as extensive a time as I have had as a customer service representative, technical support is another field for which I have worked and have also enjoyed. Learning the inner workings of devices that I have used and subsequently had trouble with is empowering. Experience in providing technical support for something as simple as website navigation to ISP trouble shooting to mobile device and PC troubleshooting has afforded me a level of confidence in how I interact and deal with things I use every day but possibly take for granted. It has given me some form of independence since I am able to use the knowledge I had garnered and sometimes extrapolate to handle snags I encounter with devices often use day-to-day.

Lastly, though there has been a considerable gap since I have had the job regarding the current day, managing a small gasoline service station was one I had enjoyed most. We had a small team, so responsibilities were spread out and I had the experience to work on things like marketing, accounts receivable, inventory management and operations. Though sounding mundane, all did provide me some know-how on the machinations within the business. Above all however, operations had to have been what I enjoyed most. Interaction and coordination with the frontline workers and the teamwork that came with it was fulfilling, being able to weather storms and sudden occurences that tend to crop up. All in all, it had a sense of achievement to overcome obstacles as a unit and to come out with exemplary marks from upper management. "
