"I am Rieza Mariel Cabataña, a licensed professional teacher, and an executive assistant.
For the past two years, I have worked as a senior high school teacher and college instructor at a private institution in our locality. I was also allowed to be the executive assistant of the institution’s Director for Academic Affairs. As a teacher, I taught students with varied learning interests, skills, and abilities. As an executive assistant, I provided administrative and clerical support to a D-level executive. Both functions made me do things that I never thought I was capable of doing.
My stay honed me, both personally and professionally, as it allowed me to practice both my profession and specialization at the same time. The experience developed my social, pedagogical, and communication skills. I was able to go out of my comfort zone and realize that the possibilities within my profession are endless and that I can do and be more outside the four walls of the classroom. Among all others, I have learned how to manage my time effectively and to put my heart in everything that I do."
