"My name is Simon Elorde, 30 years of age and a father of 3.
I was with Kudo Support, Inc. I worked for MagicJack as a Level 2 Technical Support Representative for 3 years and 1 month. It was a Voice over Internet Protocol product. So, basically, it’s about telecommunication. My task was to make sure that our customers' soft-phones were running smoothly to avoid any interruptions when making or receiving calls from all over the globe. I also handled billing and retention through email and Live Chat.
I also worked for Aegis People Support now Teleperformance Philippines, Inc. as an Operation Executive for a year and a half. I was a retention representative for Experian Credit Agency and became a Retention Coach 8 months after. My main task was to make sure that customers' subscriptions stay intact to continue monitoring their credit report and credit score.
Lastly, I was with Convergys Philippines, Inc. now acquired by Concentrix. I was with the company for almost 6 years. I worked for Microsoft as a Chat Support Level 1 Technical Representative and became a Level 2 Chat Technical Support Representative a year after. As part of the Escalations Team, my main role was to receive escalated cases and make sure to provide resolutions to Windows, Office applications and Outlook.com Exchange server issues. After a couple of years, I became a Subject Matter Expert or Technical Coach. My main responsibility was to make sure that there were no technical gaps between my agents when it comes to Windows and Microsoft Office applications. I had to do real time monitoring and technical intervention if necessary, provided technical coaching if needed and made sure that the agents maintain their scores while providing exemplary service and resolutions to our customers. With this current role, I became a Virtual Technical Coach when I started working from home in March when the pandemic reached our City. I had to complete my everyday task via email, chat platforms and through Microsoft Teams."
