"Hi I am Christopher Allan Sonza, from the Philippines. I am an all-around Virtual Assistant with diverse experience in Communications, Sales, Customer Service, and Social Media Marketing. In my past job, I was a Sales Representative for an American company and I handled both inbound and outbound accounts. My role was to take orders from customers who called our hotline number to purchase products they saw in the monthly catalogs mailed to them or over our company website. As an inbound representative, I was able to provide great customer service to every client by helping them, not only in placing their orders, but during after-sales service as well.

In the outbound aspect of the business, aside from touching base, I had enrolled customers to a Membership Club in which they enjoyed receiving their products on a monthly basis without having to give us a call each time they needed it. It gave them the pure satisfaction and every penny they spent, worth it. I also performed different administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping and project support as a part of the tasks that I had to accomplish before my shift ended. This was very memorable for me since it was the first job I had and through those years of experience, I can say it has molded me into where I am today.

Four years after, one big opportunity came knocking on the door. In this profession, I was a Communications Assistant/Relay Operator and I enjoyed every bit of my days there. It was really a great experience for me because I had the honor of providing communication for the deaf, hard of hearing and speech disabled. In this job, my typing skills were also developed as I was able to accomplish the target of 60+ words per minute with 100% accuracy rate.

Those were my days working at an office-type of environment and after another four years, I decided to work from home to be able to spend more time with my family. I became an English Tutor to students from Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand and Vietnam. This experience gave me more knowledge in planning and organizing lesson plans and made my decision-making skills more precise when it came down to the lesson I had to teach to each student in a daily basis. There were times that I was also a Personal Assistant of one of the students since I was booked for more than 2 years because she really wanted to learn English quickly than the others.

These experiences molded me to where I am today. I believe that as days go by, and everything around us keeps on evolving, I will always consider myself a student in every field I work on and continue to learn new things especially when it comes to perfecting my craft to be a great value to the company I work for."
