Roundtable Proposal - 2018 NYCWP Teacher toTeacher
Complete this form if you would like to propose a 20-minute roundtable discussion to present at the NYCWP Teacher-to-Teacher conference. Roundtables take place in a large conference room set up with tables for each facilitator and approximately eight chairs. Facilitators should plan on short informative discussions with visual materials to display and/or materials to hand out. These sessions should be structured as discussions with time for Q and A. (The facilitator will lead the same roundtable, 3 times. Conference participants will have the opportunity to visit 3 different roundtable groups)

They should incorporate experiences from the classrooms of all panelists. Teachers may be from the same school or teach in different buildings, but roundtables should address teaching literacy in multiple grades, classrooms, contexts, subjects, and/or settings in some way. These broader-reaching sessions incorporate a range of experiences that are appropriate to a variety of classroom contexts.

Please fill in all of the required information, otherwise your proposal may not be accepted. Once you begin your application, you have two weeks to complete the form. This form allows you to save and return to your application. Read each section carefully and fill in the information as clearly as possible. You will be notified by email if your roundtable proposal is accepted.

Proposals will be accepted through end-of-day on MONDAY, MARCH 12, 2018.

In the event you are selected, you will be invited to participate in a coaching session at Lehman College prior to the Conference.
