“Recently I have worked as a sales customer service agent, selling liquid oxygen to the elderly citizens in the U.S. Even though it is hard to make a sale, I enjoyed when clients or prospects started saying stories about their health conditions, they were sarcastic about it sometimes, so that is something I enjoyed about that role.
So, with almost ten years of experience as a customer service representative, I have worked with inbound and outbound campaigns. Checking accounts of credit or debit cardholders, giving out their balance, or activating their accounts. Also worked with a delivery service company tracking packages, scheduling pickups, and creating cases when a package was lost.
I worked doing political surveys, so I had to do cold-calling on the daily basis. The surveys took place before the November 2020 Presidential Elections in the United States, so, even though the questions were very well structured, sometimes people wanted to give their opinion about a certain character, and I had to remain silent, taking no sides, and most importantly, being professional to be able to carry on with the next question.
And, before the pandemic started, I was working as an administrative assistant, which I enjoy. I like preparing calendars, setting appointments, and have everything needed to make sure my client, superior, or boss is pleased with my job. I got promoted to academic coordinator, so, I know how important is to have an assistant that gets the job done and that is what I’d like to do."
