2018 Teen Summer Intern Program Grant
Funds for Libraries to Utilize Teen Interns
  • This grant is designed to encourage libraries to facilitate the use of teen interns to assist with summer learning programs.

    YALSA will provide $1,000 to support a library’s teen intern(s) program. Funds can be used for intern stipends, trainings, or other intern related activities as deemed appropriate. The $1,000 grants are made possible by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

    A total of 20 grants are available. Individual library branches within a larger system are welcome to apply.

    Applications are due January 1, 2018.

    Recipients will be announced the week of February 14, 2018.
