"My most relevant work experience is when I worked as an admin staff for a grocery store chain. One of my tasks there would be analyzing monthly sales and inventory reports. I have even made a Microsoft Excel file to check the inventory faster and more efficient since their POS System is faulty and it would take them 2 weeks to finish up a report. I would take their raw files and manually insert them into my Excel file, and the file would do the rest. With the system I made, it took me only a day to have a report ready.
My other relevant work experience would be my analyst role in 2 companies. I have been staff for the Studies Group department of a banana plantation, where part of my job was making cost-benefit analyses, product comparisons, and manpower requests approval. Another one would be as a Corporate Analyst for an Investment corporation, where I was doing feasibility studies, financial reports, and business plans for the decision-making of the executives and the board. I added this to my related experience because these works rely heavily on skills in Microsoft Excel, report making, and analysis. This includes lookups, pivot tables, and array formulas.
Lastly, I am an Economist. As a graduate of Agribusiness Economics from the University of the Philippines Mindanao, I view the world with numbers. I am trained to quantify everything and move beyond the basic metrics that are presented to see the real picture. This helped gain a sense to find maximum efficiency, be it costs or products, for all of my work experiences. I could also say that I am a number cruncher, problem solver, and eager to learn more things."
