"I've been working as a paralegal since 2015, however I started my legal career when I was still in law school doing free legal services to people in need.
Currently, I am working as an online paralegal in a US Immigration Law Firm. In this job, I prepare the whole package needed for the immigration application including the preparation of forms, cover letters and exhibit index and sometimes draft correspondences to Court.
Postions I've held are: Legal Assistant and Asst. Litigation and Compliance Officer. As part of the legal team, I am tasked with preparing drafts of the different pleadings and correspondences.
As a paralegal I do have the following tasks:
1. prepare a cover letter, index and compiled documents for all immigration packages;
2. research that will support our case;
3. communicate with clients regarding their cases; and
4. prepare the client's forms depending on the given details and facts."
