  • - -
  • Please specify a time range.
  • Group visiting hours are Monday - Friday between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM (arriving).
  • Please note that group visitors are NOT allowed to use our parking lot.

There is free parking for vans and buses on Parsonage Street. If your group is arriving in separate vehicles, there is ample metered parking in the neighborhood for your group to use.

Parking in our lot on the day of your group's visit will incur additional charges for your group.

  • Please indicate the grade levels for the children in your group.

Providence Children's Museum designs its exhibits with children between the ages of 1 year and 11 years in mind.
  • Our group visit discounted rate is $6 per child for a 2-hour visit and $7 for 3 hours for groups of 10 children or more.

Adults visiting with a group qualify for free admission providing that the group follow our group visit guidelines and policies on the day of your visit.

  • Providence Children's Museum requires a minimum ratio of adult chaperones to children for a group visit.

1 adult is required for every 4 Pre-Kindergarten Children.
1 adult is required for every 8 School-Aged Children.

Each group requires an additional adult attend as Group Leader whose responsibilities during the visit are distinct from those of regular chaperones.

A Group Leader must be free to oversee logistics for the visit and cannot be responsible for supervising any specific child or group of children.

Any adult acting in either of these roles must be 18 years or older.

Adults are free providing the group meet the chaperone ratios as described above and one Group Leader is present on the day of their visit, in addition to following all other policies regarding group visits.

Failure to comply with these policies will incur additional charges for your visit or possible refusal to admit your group.

  • Museum Adventure Classes (MAC) are available for $2 additional cost per child.

While the Museum tries to accommodate all MAC requests, scheduling a MAC is highly dependent on the Museum's staffing for the day requested.
