RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
The Village of El Portal is sponsoring the Third Annual Village of El Portal Armed Forces Day 5k Walk/Run.
I _____________________________, the undersigned individual participant, agree that I will indemnify, hold and save the Village of El Portal (“Village”), their officers, agents, contractors and employees whole and harmless and at Village’s options defend same, from and against all claims, demands, actions, damages, loss, cost, liabilities, expanses and judgments of any nature recovered from or asserted against Village on account of injury or damage to person or property to the extent that any such damage or injury may be incident to, arise out of, or be caused, either proximately or remotely, wholly or in part, by any act, omission, negligence or the misconduct on the part of the participant that may result from activities related to participation in the Armed Forces Day 5K Walk/Run. I agree that I will comply with the rules of the event as posted or announced at the Registration Desk.
I fully understand that it is my responsibility to obtain any medical release prior to participating in physical activities. I further maintain I am in good medical condition, good physical health, and can participate in any physical activity.
