"I have been in the BPO industry for over 4years now. And over the years of my journey as a Customer Service Representative I can say that I have acquired the skills and expertise in this field.

My first BPO company was Teletech - I stayed with the company for 3 and a half years. I was assigned to handle an Australian Telco account for collections. I spent my first year as an FOH folk, who's taking inbound calls. I assist customers for their personal account - requesting for reconnection, payment extension, removal of late fees and processing payment over the phone. After a year, I was promoted to be an account specialist, who's handling business and corporate accounts. Accounts that were assigned to me in a spreadsheet are those that are high risk or delinquent accounts. The main focus is for us to collect all the overdue balances, propose a payment arrangement, at the same time, avoid having their services interrupted without following the right procedure. I am constantly communicating with the business' finance and account manager via email to send them a reminder about the agreement. If no response has been received, I will do an outbound call and remind them. If the payment arrangement that we have agreed on has not been kept, I will be sending them a Gentle reminder, Suspension, Disconnection and Cancellation Notice respectively. I resigned last April 2014 and tried my luck overseas in a different field.

My second BPO was Alorica Philippines - Lipa. I got employed November 2016. I handled a US based Telco account as a Technical Support Representative. Our services include home phone, cable, internet and home security. I assist customers with troubleshooting over the phone if they have problems with any of the services that we provide. The job includes assisting with WIFI password reset, modem reset, cable restriction and adding Pay Per View. In cases that the problem can't be fixed over the phone, I will then schedule a tech visit according to the customer's availability. I also do upselling when the subscription of the customer lacks any of the services that we provide."
