Courtesy Adoption Posting Application
The Toronto Cat Rescue Courtesy Adoption Posting Program will allow you the use of our volunteers and our website to assist you in your efforts to find your cat a new home. Please complete a form for each cat you wish to rehome. Please allow approximately 7 days for completed applications to be processed and posted on the website.
Conditions of the Program:
Your cat must be healthy and spayed or neutered before being posted on the TCR website (note - Toronto Cat Rescue can provide advice on low cost options to have this done)

Your cat must have been recently vet checked and be up-to-date with vaccinations before being posted on the TCR website. Please attach a copy of the vaccination and spay/neuter certificate to this email or have your vet fax to (647) 689-2033. Cats will not be posted until this information is received.

Your cat must be social with humans and not show any signs of severe aggression.

We require digital photo(s) of your cat to post on the Available Cats section of the TCR website.

TCR is not financially responsible for your cat if it should become sick or injured while participating in the Courtesy Adoption Posting Program. TCR is not financially responsible for vaccinating or spay/neutering your cat as part of participating in this program.

You will remain the primary caregiver of your cat until it is adopted.

All medical records and history must be given to the adopter at the time of adoption.

If your cat is adopted and returned by the adopter, you agree to take the cat back in to your home until a forever home can be found.

Description of Cat
This is what potential adopters read about your cat. Be honest and if possible include information regarding its temperament towards other cats, dogs and children. Please include – colour of cat, breed (i.e. DSH, Grey and White Tabby, etc.), date of birth, sex, spay/neuter, and how recently it was vaccinated.
Sample Description: GEMINI - DSH, torti, female, spayed, DOB August 1, 2005. Gemini is a beautifully coloured girl with a big personality. She loves to lie on the couch beside you and watch TV, or to explore the house and play with toys. She is a talker and "asks" for more pets when she wants more. She has the funniest, loudest purr ever!! She does not like to be picked up, but she really enjoys attention and affection. She lives in a foster home with other cats and big dogs and she is fine with them. She would do best in a home looking for a cat that loves to be with them all the time, as she follows her foster mom from room to room. She really is a lovely, enjoyable cat.
